Feeding America
This archive of 76 influential American cookbooks from the late 1700s to early 1900s, assembled by the Michigan State University Museum and Library, offers scans of each book in both html and PDF formats. The collection is browsable by date, by interest, or alphabetically. Equally as compelling is the site’s gallery of antique cooking utensils and kitchenware, with photos and descriptions of everything from cake boxes to ceramic pickle crock pots.
