Mr. Martin’s Typewriter Museum

Mr. Martin has got to be the coolest 6th-grade teacher in the San Diego area. He collects bicycles, computers, calculators, and classic typewriters, all of which can be seen on his website. Typewriters in his collection of 108 examples range from an 1896 Blickensderfer No. 5 to an 1969 IBM Model D, which he purchased at a flea market for $5 (this Mid-century Modern beast weighs in at almost 50 pounds!).
