Any ideas what this 1939 Texas State Fair Ticket might be worth...It was found in a demolition house ..... I paid $20.00 for it with hopes I could make my first profit as a new picker from the sell of this ticket... Im not sure who to call to get an appraisal...so any ideas please let me know...I live in Dallas, tx. and would be greatful for any help what so ever... thanks.

It is not likely to have much value unless the lady mentioned on it was someone of prominence.

It would be a little more collectible if it was from 1936 Texas Centennial Fair.

Miss Leland Watkins was the supervisor in the Dallas County school system. The history of the Watkins family goes back to the famous Mier expedition. Miss Watkins also taught at John Henry Brown School. Dave

If you find out of anyone that deals in these things let me know. I've found a 1960 Texas State Fair ticket from "Fort Worth Day"
