There is a tag on the stand that came with this doll that says Wendy Bride early 50s. The tag in the dress just says Madame Alexander. I believe that all of her clothes are original. I am not sure if she is composition or hard plastic. I would love any information that you might have about her. She was an estate sale purchase today. Thank you!

She is hard plastic and her face looks like Margaret Not Wendy . Her neck should be marked Alexander and her dress should say her name on tag . Tell me how tall she is and does she walk her legs go back and forth with her head ? She has discolored and skin tone it is to white and blotchy but she is a beauty . I will await your reply on size and markings ok . I am sure she is a madame Alexander Margaret Walker and all original , She is in good condition not mint, The dress has frayed which all decrease her value but she is still a Great Find !! . Is she about 15 inches tall ?

Here is a mint one don't go by price they have as she won't sell that high but use her for reference only :-)

There is some confusion on these 2 listing . The only Large Wendy Doll Bride vs the 8 inch Wendy-kin is made of composition that I know of and yours is not composition . I will resort to my books to verify she is a Margaret Walker .

She is Margaret here is one with original paper work. I was sure but wanted to verify it to you so you could see for your self and solve her

      Oh... and she does walk.
    6. CindySmith23920, 11 years ago
      And she has no markings.

They did her in 18 inch size also . She is a Madame Alex Margaret all original . Some dolls did not always get marked .

Thank you so much for your help. She reminds me so much of my mother who had beautiful red hair just like she does. :)
