I found this weathervane in a small out of the way antique shop in Brewster, Mass. about 15 years ago. It is made from sheet metal and was cut painstakingly and very accurately in the shape of Cape Cod. There is a star cut-out which denotes the town of Brewster. My guess is that it was made in the 1930s. I was told at the time, that it had just recently been taken off an old house in Brewster. When compared to a modern day map, there are areas that are now missing, most likely due to erosion.
