Does anyone know what this is? It's hollow, and the inside almost looks as if something was burned in it, or maybe it's just tarnished? It says "sterling" on the back, with "133" below. And there's some sort of silver mark but I can't make it out.

it looks kind of like a mezuzah to me.
Thanks for your comment. I see your point, but I doubt a mezuzuh would be open like this or be decorated with these flowers. But who knows!
