These are two very different photographs of my great great grandfather, B.D. (Bert or Albert Dudley). The first is from the early 1880s. The second is from around 1898, as this was taken before he left to fight in the Spanish-American War. He was 36 years old at the time. His father, John Amos, had served in the Civil War. I wish I had a photo of him as well.
