This chair was found in a pile of rubbish. It has 4 small wheels. The height is approx. 830 mm it is 600 deep front to back and 670 wide There were only 5 springs , 230 high (brass I think) where it looks like there should have been 9. Under the upholstery the chair has what looks like a name address and date. August 1933 in pencil. By the amount of previous tack holes the chair has been upholstered twice. I would really like to know the history of this type of chair so I can upholster it in the correct style and fabric. Also What kind of back cushion would it have had. The stuffing was coconut fibre and cotton batting mixed with old scraps of material.
    Thank you D Gye
