hey folks, Need some help on this , My understanding its a 1960's speedester, But the rocket seat has got me wondering, i can't seem to find any info on it, And i guess the second question is , is it worth restoring?? It is the 3 speed model, it's all there, short of the tires, any info would be helpful, thanks for your time.

While its not a big dollar bicycle it is still a cool little Schwinn. It has a old baby seat that works as a carrier. If you like the bike, and I do, fix it up and enjoy it.
Thank you Vontrike, i do like the bike, Is the baby seat fairly rare now days? Like i said before, i haven't any to find anything about it, I think the bike is a 1960, but who know???
The seats are not real rare, I had one on a bike before. I took it off and hung it up in the garage. You can goggle serial numbers for Schwinn's or post and I can give you the year. A local bicycle shop should be able to get you the correct size tire as Schwinn used odd size's.
Vontrike, Sorry about the delay, I looked for serial on the bike, and came up empty, Can't find it on the bike anywhere.
Its either on the rear of the frame by the axle, or by the namebadge.
