I recently purchased this rabbit at an estate sale and would primarily be interested to learn more about it, i.e. maker, time period, etc. From what I can tell, the rabbit as old glass red eyes, which are connected to wires, the rabbit is stitched together and only has "fur" on the head, ears and hands. The "shoes" or "socks" have four words written on them, I can't make out the first two possibly "washted", but the latter two appear to say "mercanized cotton". The feet appear to have two wooden blocks under them that allows the rabbit to stand. Lastly, the body is that of a cloth doll with everything sewn together although under the cloth is rather hard. I would greatly appreciate any information regarding this interesting piece. Thanks in advance.
