I have an old slag table lamp with a heavy brass base. I can not find any markings. Anyone know who the maker may have been or approx value?

Hi, I'm sorry to say that I do believe it is a newer shade on an old base.
Mark, I have been told this by a couple of local antique dealers. The base is a good one but the shade is a repro. It's OK because I did not pay much and my wife likes it. I have an offer of 275 locally. Thanks for the input!
