I am considering insuring these items but the real challenge lies with the watch. Made by R. Gsell & Co. Inc. 1969 My Grandmother bought it for $26.25 in 1970. It's a 7 Jewel, mechanical "swisswatch". Sold as the Maxi Astro time watch. I have original purchase order and other correspondence with Jeweler and Manufacturer. Has anyone seen one of these before. Most of the watch people I have spoken too have never heard of it or seen it. Any help greatly appreciated. The pins are my favorite. The Apollo 11 pin as seen at the Smithsonian and as far as what my grandfather said is a moon rock pin. Value guestimations anyone? I tried sending this to the collect space people but the administrator is taking their sweet time approving my registration.

I am like you, I have one that still has the watch band. Mine works, does yours? I can not find any information on the watch. Mine is stamped 1969 and is identical to the one in the picture. I can not be of any help but will continue to search for info. If you find anything about the value please let me know as will I. Thanks.
AWESOME WATCH I WANT!!!!
