According to the Alfred Meakin website, this piece dates pre 1897. Anyone have any Information on it. Value? It is sitting in a thrift store and I have the opportunity to buy it but I think they want more than it's worth. Bowl.vase is in excellent condition with no crazing, chips, cracks or blemishes.

Is it big enough to be a punch bowl? Have you bought it yet? If not, there are several Alfred Meakin Ironstone pieces on sale online....check EBay, Granny's Attic, and others, that you can compare prices.
