This elephant bowl is something that once belonged to my grandmother. I don't know much about it except that I have always thought it was neat and when my mother gave it to me I was thrilled. This bowl has been around for as long as I can remember (47+ yrs). There are no markings except for on the very bottom - Made in Austria and a stamp. There are 6 elephants encircling the bottom.

I have an elephant bowl too. Mine has 4 elephants and is white, green and yellow. I can not find out anything about mine either!

i'm not positive, but i think that this would be called faience and is from the 1920s, by the looks of the elephants. i'm no expert though.
