Does anyone know anything about this table? I was told it was a tea table from the 20's. The glass top is removable and turns into a tray. The wood in intricately carved and besides a couple nicks, its in excellent shape. It looks French to me, but not sure. One woman told me it was worth about $100.00 and then offered to give me $150.00. I think it is too beautiful to sell, but would like to know more about it.

May be a reproduction also, like the indonesian furniture that they are making a lot of these days in antique styles. But hard to tell from photos provided and many are mistaken for antiques. This is like a Louis 15th style. It is a 20th century piece I believe but these styles were made well into the 90's also.
