This piece consists of a bottom, a nesting tray, and the top. The material is wood with black lacquer. The raised scene on the top appears to be carved of wood, stone, and mother of pearl. I have no idea the age, origin or artist responsible for this beautiful piece. Maybe someone out there can solve this mystery!
