Twin vases

These vases were given to me as an engagement present 50 years ago I was told they were valuable but have no idea if that is factual.
They were sent to us from Hong Kong
I love them and have no idea of their origin or anything about the, but I have always loved them and have kept them despite my divorce!!
There appears to be a signature on them and have included a photo of the signature.
Any information would be helpful as I would love to know their origin and the artists background
