    Hi,
If someone could give me any info on this teapot I'd be grateful! It has a scene painted (transfer?) on one side but not the other and has been scratched - see photos. The paint/transfer is quite rough, hasn't been sealed. Has it been abandoned halfway through? There is no makers mark that I can see. There are more photos so if you want to see more I can send them... The lid is in good condition and it appears to be quite good china. All very odd!
    Any help gratefully received!
    Many t hanks

This may simply be a teapot which someone has attempted to alter. Likely that the teapot is porcelain china and not bone china.

Thanks for your suggestion. I hadn't considered that possibility. It would have been a very plain teapot before if this is the case - but nicer, in my view!
