I know I have seen this type of bottle before in a book or somewhere, but can no longer find the reference. It's so unusual! I am certain that it's old, but will have to research it to find that reference.
I'm not even certain that it's porcelain. The way the design was formed makes me think it might be pottery.
Each side features a coin in the middle surrounded by what appear to be chrysanthemum pedals. On each side there is a mask handle of what appears to be a foo dog or lion.
It measures 6cm tall and is in really wonderful condition with no chips or cracks.
