Niels Jorgen Haugesen Chairs Model OD80 Produced by Oddense Maskinsnedkeri

Came across these wonderful examples of Haugesen OD80 chairs the other day, had to bring them home.

Born in Denmark in 1936, Niels Jørgen Haugesen studied architecture and in 1966, was employed by professor and architect Arne Jacobsen, where he stayed until 1971. He then ran his own design studio, and from 1980-95 was in partnership with textile designer Gunvor Haugesen.

I love the unique shape, color and use of canvas to create the 'look' !
