Can any one help with information on this jar? Clear Ball Perfect Mason Jar. The a on Ball is written with a long line before the a, but there is no line under the word ball. The only Ball with out a line under has a with out the line C. 1923-1933. Side seams match, perfect mason-the son is a little higher, there is a circle on the bottom no other markings on the bottom. On the upper part of the jar (where the lid screws on) there are numbers read from inside H19. Thank You
Do an ebay search for a DREY Perfect Mason jar. If you can find one, it will show what the embossing for the company looked like before Ball bought them. Ball wouldn't throw anything away till they had run it into the ground, so they would alter the jar molds to add/change the name to Ball. Hope this helps.
