This is from WW1 where my Great Grandfather lied about his age to inlist, It was part of a very large cardboard photo of his regiment, but over the years others contacted him and my family to ask for thier familys photo.
It says The Right Highland infantry, there is an elephant and the year
1899-19?? just over his head.
He was scottish so I suspect it was a scottish troup but have no other info. does anyone else have parts of or information on this photo?
