Could somebody please help me with a question I have not been able to solve for years. I have a 1899 Indian Head Cent, it has a full strike on both sides and shows very little wear, but it is only half as thick as a regular one. Is this an error coin, and if so where could I look it up for further details? I have a picture with it next to another Indian Head Cent.

Mine is the same thickness as any other penny. Which would tell me it is an error coin or had a very unusual even wear pattern.
