About forty years ago, my father was in Hong Kong and purchased this fountain pen. He gave it to me before he died about ten years ago. He told me he was assured that it was a genuine Mont Blanc, but one not sold in the US. The pen is stainless steel and seems finely made and machined. There is a white star in black on the top of the cap and a white star on silver on the bottom of the barrel. The cap says "MONT BLANC germany" and the nib says MB. It takes a standard Mont Blanc ink cartridge. Can someone tell me if this is indeed a genuine Mont Blanc founntain Pen? and the model #? I would greatly appreciate it. I tend to collect Bexley Pens as I live close to their factory, but I do enjoy and use this pen. Thanks Skip Turner firstname.lastname@example.org.
