Found this ring in a lot and I'm curious to its age and the metal used. From what I can see with my loop the marking is to faded to make out. Judging by the gemstone air holes it's gotta either be silver or maybe even white gold ( it's happened to me before.). It has some tarnish so I ruled out platinum. The huge pearl is actually secured by the bottom, probably staked in. Followed by 8 tiny pearls and 2 rectangular cut emeralds. I want to say Victorian or Edwardian. But probably from the 20's or 30's. what do you think? The inside of the band looks like it was rubbed with steel wool or some bristoled brush.

Looks to be silver, but the only way to know for sure is to have it tested. I'm not at all sure that the giant pearl is original to the ring.

The kyra test, rub your teeth against the pearls if they feel gritty than you may have some pearls, if smooth than definitely no. Good luck.
