I bought this car 24 years ago. At the time I really thought it would be fun to have. Now it is sitting in a barn, gathering dust. I keep it covered, and show it off every now and then. I never got into the history of it then, now I would like to know more if somebody out their can help me.
I was told it was per-soap box, never really believed that.It is about 56" long and 24" high at the steering wheel. It has a "Fisher" body emblem on it. I really don't know if it is something that came with it orginally or somebody before me attached it. The body is made of aluminum. The grill was painted silver,it is not crome.
It has steering and brakes. The brakes clamp around a hub on the back wheels. It was leave spring in front on both sides. The rear axle pivotes in the center.
The tire that are shown are not the orginals. They were in really rough shape, cracked and flat sided from setting. The car was on a stand so as not to set on the tires. I took them off and put them away, I put some tires that I boought on so I could roll the car and the little grandkids could play with it. I have never seen anything like them. Firestone made them. Dealers have never seen anything like them.
