Looks like a boot jack to me.

Thanks lowspeed. After your suggestion of a boot jack, i searched and that's what it is! Apparently she even has a name..."Naughty Nellie". I am now trying to figure out how to tell if it's a reproduction. Any suggestions?

I got mine from my grandfather's estate. The stamp on the back is "iron art", LB26 is correct. Other versions do not have these stampings, however they do have "Nell's Place" cast onto it's stomach. These newer versions also are missing nipples (which your's has, if you hadn't already noticed!). I do not have information on the "Iron Art" company, but I would like to track that down. I have seen values range from $15.00 to $100.
