Cool Palm cigars tin sign that i recently bought in very nice condition. I really like the colors. I really like my new focus on my collection... Not nearly as heavy as porcelain signs either lol.

Thank you Caleb20!!
That's a great sign! I have the very same one, perfect size and will only go up UP in value.
oilman,
Thats a sick sign. I know a guy offering one for $100. Seems steep to me. I was wondering what you thought was a fair price for a sign in good ( light rust in one corner)?
signlova
i paid $70 for this one which i think was very fair, I see them go over $100 so if its nice thats probably a good deal.
Thanks for your input!
Oilman,
I'm curious for your input. I am relatively new to collecting signage and was wondering if you had any books you would recommend. I am particularly interested in tobacco related, but anything related to antique signs would be helpful.
Thanks!
I reccomend Bj summers "Value Guide to Advertising Memorabilia" Its got over 1,000 color pictures of signs, thermometers, clocks, ect. The prices on some items are off but the book values do give a decent price range. I mainly use it for reference and making sure signs are real. There are plenty of tobacco signs in this book.
Encyclopedia of porcelain enamel advertising is another really good one that i use more as a price guide for porcelain signs.
Signs of our past is also a really good book.
