This is from my husband's family (his great-grandparents, perhaps even farther back). We believe it is from the 1800's sometime. We know it is a Morris Chair, but would like to have additional information. We've tried to find a reputable antiques appraiser/dealer in our area, but have not been successful. If anyone can give us any info, it would be welcome.

Does it have a button to make it go back?

@Savoychina1 - wow! Thanks. Those are great sites. So much more information than we have gotten from supposed antique experts in our area!

Be nice if I got a piece of furniture with my "Tide"... Sigh.
