Had to run a service call today, literally across the street from one of my favorite thrift stores. Even though I've sorta been trying to avoid the place while still sorting thru all the other stuff brought home from Mom and Dad's <groan> how could I *not* stop in for a visit, anyways?? <giggle>

And the knife from this set first caught my eye, hanging on the wall by itself with the rest of the assorted kitchen utensils and crap. Such a nicely shaped, otherwise normally sized blade, but what an unusually *long* handle?! Looked a little further, and soon spotted a matching fork, spatula, and spoon also hanging there...$2/pc...*sold*! <LOL>

Guessing they were a 'grill set' but for the presence of the spoon...not sure why that'd be part of a grill set. Likewise unsure why a set intended for kitchen use would have such long handles except that they *do* look pretty cool that way...I think they're gonna be a 'kitchen set' *now*, no matter what they were intended to be...?! ;-)

The wooden handles are indeed about 9-1/2" long and painted black, fastened to each utensil with a single through-rivet. Overall lengths are roughly 16", the spatula the actual longest of all at 17-1/2". The stainless portions of each one do look very nicely made, they all bear matching VOOS STAINLESS logos, with the name VOOS stylized within an arrow.

I haven't yet found much online to suggest a whole lot of anything about VOOS, or about how old these actually might be either, for that matter. Anybody got a clue -- please share if so?!! :-) :-) :-)

Idk.... but I found the exact knife hanging on a wall in a house I’m certain has spirits/ghosts. No I’m not a quack and I never believed in ghosts. My experiences have led me there. I was researching the knife and stumbled upon this article. Hopefully you will get this and respond.

      Kindest regards
