    My story is this. I was helping my wife clean up after a friend of hers moved. I found this and another Asian piece (which I've also posted) I would appreciate any help with the name and the material it was made with. It is starting to crumble and it looks like its meant to hang on the wall.

      They are not just found in Taiwan, but across the strait in Fujian as well. I am guessing this IS from Taiwan.
