    Can anyone give me idea of manufacture and approximate time period. Was found in closet of house that was purchased as a rental property.

      I have an old National cash register which has a name plate attached near the top.
      I also found info on mine when I removed the cash drawer and saw manufacturing info on the framework.
      Your cash drawer probably has a small lever that allows it’s removal.
