    It believe it was called the X wing or something. It was made in the early to mid 1960s. I think it was a light metallic blue color. It made a great sound if I recall when the front wheel turned.

    Have one just like it. My has been painted but it is still blue underneath. I just posted mine on here last weekend. People where telling me it was an Irish Mail type. Now I have seen two.

    This item was called the "X-15" named after the X 15 rocket flown in the 1960's.
    I was given one of these toys a a youngster in 1969. The V-RROOM was the noise that it would make when the red plastic lever was moved to the on position. They were painted a light silver blue. Hope you can restore it! It was a lot of fun!
