A beautiful hand painted stud found in an old sewing basket that belonged to my Grandmother. It seems to be porcelain but I can't find a signature or marking on the back.If anyone can give me history/information on the time period, I would appreciate it.

These type of painted porcelain studs/Buttons were home decorated from the period 1890-1920. Porcelain Button blanks were made commercially and sold for women to decorate at home. Sadly, most of them were left unsigned.
