This Reproduction of a 1929 Glascock cooler was sold wholesale to buyers who attended the Atlanta wholesale gift show for 595.00 (wholesale) in 1992. We purchased one for our store. It came with a additional wooden shelf and an umbrella. It is a functional, insulated cooler, great for parties. It was designed by John C. Staton originally. It was produced under the authority of the coca cola company by Classic fabrications, Inc. 770 Penarth Ave., walnut, CA 91789 and was called "Old time stand up ice chest"

I purchased mine in 1990-1991 from a patio shop in Riverside, California. My registered no. is 103 and I have a certificate of authenticity and ownership. The table mentioned is made of oak and you can flip it up when you need it. The umbrella is white with the stained glass Coca-Cola pattern in red and green. I couldn't find one online. Let me know if you'd like a picture of it. My understanding as to why this item just up and disappeared is that there were licensing issues with the maker and Coca-Cola. Hopes this helps.

I have the same cooler except it is red and has the Budweiser Logo on it. Made by the same company in California. I have not been able to find out any info on it. My uncle got it for a prize in a company function in New York. It was value in the early 90's for $799.00. I wish we could find someone who could tell us what it is worth today they seam very rear.

We have the Budweiser Ice Chest that we have been trying to find out information on for the last 20+ years and can not seem to find out anything. This is the first site we have found anything. We are number 223. If anyone knows anything about this please let us know. We have never used this. Thanks so much. We paid 50 bucks for it brand new out of the showroom from.
