I bought these paintings online auction for $1 dollar apiece. What drew me to these paintings was the curiosity, are these over size post cards or actual paintings that was unfinished. The paintings has texture and are signed by Frances Gamble possibly an unknown artist or fictitious. I hope someone can recognize the signature or the style of these paintings.
She may be the Frances Gamble who worked at the Philadelphia Museum of Art:

Several folks have looked for information for over the years with no success. Probably an amateur, part time, fine artist.
I am beginning to believed that it is a amateur or a student artist, but never the less I like these pieces. Thanks for the input kwqd.
