    1918 Gibson Mandolin with case. Style A3, Serial #40967. This beautiful mando has been in my family for many, many years. I received this from my father in 2008 and someday will pass it down to my son.

      Yours is a twin to my grandmother's which is will be passed on to my son in August. In the case are are some original string packages (one with a string in it) and a program from a recital she played in 1918. Does anyone knows where to get copies of the old print advertisements for these?
