This is one of my miniature baskets, made by the Pomo Tribe. It is a bit less than one inch in diameter. The tiny feathers are woven right into the basket itself, hard to do with a large basket so I imagine it was really difficult to do with a basket this tiny! I have seen miniatures that have the feathers glued on but this one, they are truly woven in. It is so tiny and beautiful especially in the sunlight, the sun reflects the colors in the feathers. I have been told that these are pretty rare to find these days. The last pic is with a tube of lip balm so you get an idea of the size of this little basket.

Thank you vetraio50, for the "love it" about my Pomo basket. It really is cute and tiny, isn't it? I just love holding it up in the sunlight so I can see all the colors in the feathers. It is one of my favorites in my collection.
Thank you, scandinavian_pieces. Miniatures are my favorites. I just put up my miniature Sea Urchin Basket, I also have the larger one in the same colors up on this site.
