This is a huge, 56 x 120in poster on wood of Alicante, the city where I grew up. It was in the foyer of the building where we have our office. The owners decided to remodel and stuck it in the storage room. So every time I passed by any of the condo owners in the elevator, stairs or whatever, I begged, and nagged, and pleaded, and begged again, and whined, because it was going to be ruined in storage.
I am not sure if they agreed with me, of if they just wanted to shut me up, but one day, when I walked in, there it was, leaning against the wall next to my office door, waiting for me!!
I am going to use it as our conference table, with a sheet of glass to protect it.
And, as it turns out, the photograph was taken, printed and mounted on wood by one of the condo owner's father.
You can even see a huge fingerprint, from someone touching the negative!
