This little cabinet interest me. It’s in a barn not far from my house. I was surprised the top was actually a hinged lid. The drawers aren’t dovetailed however they are numbered in order on the bottom which makes me think it’s not mass produced. Any idea what the inside of the lid with the tray and rack is all about? Maybe dental, medical, or something for an artist…… or maybe I’m way off base. Any thoughts, guesses, knowledge? Thanks for helping solve the mystery.

I think it is a makeup case, theater type makeup, could be jewelry also. but trays look more like makeup. what's inside the drawers?

The drawers are plain. I had thought something along those lines. Thanks for your input. I have never seen anything like it.
