Found this item at a thrift store and it looked VERY old to all of us! We would love to find out more information about the chair. I have been doing google searches for the past few days and have come up short!

I believe you have found a Bentwood rocking chair. Not sure what year.
Your chair looks to be of oak and from about 1890- 1920.
I wouldn't call this particular rocker "bentwood"-- usually that is used to describe a chair with long dowel shaped pieces that are bent to make a back, arms or legs.

i have the same exact chair! i'm researching it right now and came across yours. did you ever find anything out about it?
