    I found this painting at an estate sale recently. The painting is signed and dated by James Hussey, and depicts famous Pirate Alley in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The artist is well-known for his paintings of Louisiana scenery. This is the only oil on canvas that he did of this famous street.
