Can anyone tell me about this Artist, R Nichols, this painting, which I acquired from a storage unit facility in Albany, Oregon, they were cleaning out the storage unit, due to a recent bid on the storage unit or fur nonpayment, this painting was headed for the trash bin
Avante Studios San Gabriel CA. was a production studio that makes hundreds of painting each year. It started more than fifty years ago in 1967 with production but is since 1980 no longer active.
Many anonymous artists who worked for such a production studio were making decorative paintings exactly what the market required for that time. . The signature is therefore probably a fantasy name.
