Glass vase with gold underlay and black drip

Hello, I picked this up recently in a second hand store and would love to find out more about it. The vase is signed but I can't quite make out the artists name. The top of the vase is smooth and the black drip gains texture as it flows towards the base. The gold underlay is not completely solid and can be seen through in many sections of the vase. The base frosted and the rest of the glass is clear. Any information about this technique of glass art or information about the artist would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Jeff
