This lamp was in my Aunt's Estate. I took these pictures, but my cousin has the lamp for safe keeping. My Aunt is almost 95 and has had this over 65 years. It always was at her bedside. The stem is metal and the shade is some sort of glass with small pics on it. There is some sort of writing at the bottom of the stem, but I cannot make it out even with a magnifier. Can anyone lead me to what this is and the maker? I know it is special and it would make my cousin feel great to finally find out what it is. Thank you.

I think you have a Pairpoint lamp from New Bedford Mass. Probably about 90 years old. The shade looks unusual for the maker & has painting as well as the glass sections. If in excellent condition this lamp could be quite rare & valuable.
Thank you composer369 - my cousin is keeping the lamp as he became quite attached to it. Thank you.
