Found these in a thrift store for 1.00. I thought they were pretty cool. Copyright 1962, John Dritz & Sons Inc., N.Y. 10 N.Y. I thought it was interesting that they were made in Switzerland. Also had an address for a repair service in Spartanburg, S.C. Box is in decent shape, plastic front cover missing and one end flap missing. Scissors still work and cut great !The box says they are absolutely safe, even for children, cannot cut fingers. You don't see that claim very often anymore. These days, that is a perfect claim for a lawsuit !! Anybody else still have there "Dritz Electric Scissors " ? Thanks for looking.

I laugh when I see these but I love them! I had a red pair when I was little. In effectiveness they were horrible. For hours of fun and cutting up paper just to use them priceless!
You are right Vestawind, I tried them out and they definitely aren't the most efficient I've seen. Seems like they are running wide open and not getting anything done. Thanks for stopping bye !
Thanks lisa and CarolnWbg for loving and liking the Dritz scissors and stopping by !
