Pictures of my Grandfather's WWI uniform, he fought in Northern Russia against the Bolsheviks from Sept 1918 thru June 1919. I have many letters and other items of his. The men that were in Russia called themselves "The Polar Bear's"

It says "Defensive Sector", this is a replacement medal, the original was lost in a fire.
The original said "Russia".
The red, white and blue ribbon medal is a British "Military Medal" for bravery.

The British award is unusual. I love the documentation.
If I was you, I'd get a correct "Russia" clasp to replace what you have.
