Hi,
We received this as a gift when working in Hong Kong in 2000.
I'm trying to find out the value, here are some details:
10g 9999 gold
Perth Mint on box, never been taken out of box but box is a little worn (the cardboard cover)
Reverse side has the Elizabeth II and says Cook Islands
Any help would be great.
Thanks, Ann-Marie

The actual gold weight of this coin is 0.32 oz. Multiply the current gold price by this number .32 and that will give you the actual melt value. Gold prices change continually every day and can be found on the internet. the catalog value of your coin could be found in the Standard Catalog of World Coins if you know the date and denomination. However as is the case for most modern made for collectors coinage like this, metal value is the only consideration in the real world.
