As this ring was passed on to me by my grandfather before he passed away, I do not know much about it. It has a diamond shaped turquoise stone on the front, with two half moons on either side. Further down on both sided of the band it had a whirling log , which looks a lot like a swastika. I contacted someone recently who replied...
I'm not an expert when it comes to Native American art, but I'm 99.9% certain your ring is actually Navajo with what's know as a "whirling log" rather than a "swastika".... it was probably made in the early 1900's in Arizona or the 4 Corners area.
Any information I can find on this would be great.
