I found this doll for 7.00 at a thrift store. I don't know anything about dolls, but I know enough to know that she is old, she's worth more than 7.00 and I needed to rescue her if nothing else. I would appreciate any help anyone can give regarding information about her. I think it is made out of an old kind of plastic??? and handpainted (facial features, shoes, nails). The clothes are in fairly good shape. The doll is about 10" tall (I think). Thanks so much. Torri Thompson

Hi your doll is a Made in Mexico tourist doll. Made of a light composition material or a light plaster they used both . She was worth 7.00 :-) These dolls were made from about 50's to present . Yours shows some age and is a better quality than some . Enjoy her and place her on display . Very pretty senorita

Hellow. I do agree with Manikin. Your doll could be a souvenir doll from Mexico. At first I thought could be a Marin doll from Spain but the quality of the doll fixtures and material/garments are not there. Still a very pretty doll.
